Hi, I’m David Eastman and my business is called Love, Fun and Money. I have one simple mission – to be your one stop resource for self-employment support and solutions. My work is straightforward and easy to understand -- I educate, encourage and empower people just like you to become successfully self-employed.

I work with people in all walks and stages of life, from college students to downsized executives, from stay at home parents to midlife career changers, with the unemployed, underemployed, and misemployed, with people in all fields from A to Z, from art to zoology.

My mission and my values are embodied in the company name. I want for you what I want for myself. I want all of us to do what we love, have fun doing it, and make good money. It’s as simple as that.

WHO IS DAVID EASTMAN?

Hey, this is the part of the website where I’m suppose to wow you with all my impressive credentials. You know, how I finished top in my med school class at Harvard, won the Nobel Prize in Infomercials, used to date Angelina Jolie, or whatever. All totally untrue and totally irrelevant.

What I will tell you is that I have been successfully self-employed for nearly 15 years. Aside from Love, Fun and Money, I also have an online book business called GonzoBooks.com and am a partner in another book-related company, Library Liquidators, LLC.

My educational background is primarily in the fields of psychology and religious studies, and I hold a Masters degree in counseling from Indiana University.

After ten years as a psychotherapist, I worked for another ten in training and development in corporate America.

For me self-employment is not just about career or vocation, but primarily about quality of life. Being self-employed means that you get to choose how, when, and where you work. It means you create your own work-life balance. It means you, and only you, are held accountable for your success. It’s not necessarily an easy life, but it’s a joyous one!
